Empowering Transformation Through Hypnosis
About Lavina Spry, CTHt

I completed my studies in March 2020 at the Florida Institute of Hypnotherapy (FIH), a state-licensed school by the Florida Department of Education, earning diplomas in Hypnosis, Clinical Hypnosis, and Transpersonal Hypnosis. Committed to addressing my clients’ needs with the highest standards and ethics, I became an active member of the International Association of Interpersonal Hypnotherapy (IAIH), the credentialing body for FIH.
The IAIH enforces a strict Code of Ethics and has the authority to suspend or revoke certifications. Certification requires 500 hours of training and a state-licensed diploma from FIH. Alternatively, hypnotherapists can be certified with 300 hours of training from a state-licensed or internationally equivalent school, along with successful completion of the IAIH Interpersonal Hypnotherapy Course and exams. The IAIH upholds the highest certification standards in the U.S.
Being part of IAIH is an honor, as the association recognizes hypnotherapy as a crucial profession for client success. The IAIH Committee ensures the integrity of the work performed and supports hypnotherapists in achieving optimal client outcomes.

Healing
Hypnosis is used in various therapeutic settings, often referred to as hypnotherapy. It can help with issues such as discomfort management, stress reduction, smoking cessation, weight loss, and the treatment of phobias and anxiety.
Growth
Hypnotized individuals are more likely to accept and act on suggestions given by the hypnotist. These suggestions can influence thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and perceptions. For example, a hypnotist might suggest that the subject feels no discomfort, helping them to manage with ease more effectively.
Transformative
Hypnosis can be a valuable tool for those seeking to improve their mental and physical health, offering a holistic approach to healing and personal development.
Our Vision
To be a leading beacon of light in the realm of transformative hypnotherapy, guiding individuals towards unlocking their inner wisdom and higher consciousness.
Our Mission
Our mission at Spry-Hypnotherapy is to provide expert hypnosis services that facilitate deep healing, personal growth, and positive change, empowering individuals to embark on a journey of self-discovery and transformation.
Hypnotherapy, Past Life/In Between Life Therapy, and Breathwork are all therapeutic modalities that can safely leverage altered states of consciousness to promote healing, personal growth, and well-being. Despite their different approaches and theoretical foundations, they share common elements such as deep relaxation, focused attention, and the use of suggestive techniques to facilitate positive change. By integrating these safe modalities, practitioners can offer a comprehensive therapeutic approach that addresses various aspects of an individual’s well-being, leveraging the strengths of each method to foster deep and lasting transformation.
